According to the epidemiological bulletin of the DGS released today, 386 people are hospitalised, 13 less compared to Tuesday, of which 68 in intensive care, less six in the last 24 hours.

The new coronavirus has already infected in Portugal at least 493,624 men and 574,176 women, according to data from the DGS.
Among the new infections, children between 0 and 9 years old stand out with 137 new infections, followed by the age groups from 60 to 69 years old (98+), 20 to 29 years old (91+), 10 to 19 (+88+ ), from 30 to 39 years old (over 88) and from 40 to 49 years old (over 88).

The Autonomous Region of Madeira recorded 20 new cases, totalling 12,248 infections and 72 deaths due to the covid-19 disease since March 2020.
In the last 24 hours, and according to DGS, the Azores registered 13 new cases, which raises to 8,840 infections since the beginning of the pandemic. The number of deaths remains at 42.
The regional authorities of the Azores and Madeira publish their data daily, which may not coincide with the information published in the DGS bulletin.
Rather than all these case numbers per region, this daily Covid-19 update would benefit from showing the % of fully vaccinated people per age bracket (e.g. 16-15, 25-23, 35 -45 years old) comparing % with a first dose with % with a second dose. My question is related to this info: how high can Portugal's vaccination rate get. You country is an example t the world!
