"It is now possible to make the online scheduling request for the booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine for users aged 18 years or older, who have completed the primary scheme five months ago and have not had an infection less than five months ago," SPMS said in a statement.
According to the same source, for adults who received the Janssen vaccine at least three months ago, in addition to the self-scheduling available on the Covid-19 portal, the "open house" modality is now available.
"Thus, those who have been vaccinated with Janssen can go to the vaccination centre that is most convenient for them, without any prior contact or scheduling," the SPMS advanced.
According to data from the Directorate General of Health on Wednesday, more than 4.5 million people have already received the booster dose of immunisation against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
