Henrique Gouveia e Melo, who is on 23 July being heard at the Parliamentary Health Commission on the vaccination process, added that the Ministry of Health “has been compensating for these shortfalls with acquisitions through partners who are not using some of these vaccines or anticipating 4th quarter vaccines to this third quarter”.
The official said he expects to have 70 percent of the population vaccinated with a dose between 8 and 15 August and with full vaccination between 5 and 12 September.
