Portugal is set to receive the first Covid vaccines by Johnson & Johnson during the second quarter of this year. The news was confirmed by the head of Portugal’s national drugs watchdog Infarmed as the vaccine’s makers submitted a request for its approval to the European regulator. Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose Janssen vaccine is currently in the final phases of safety and efficiency trials and, all going well, is expected to be approved next month.
This is the vaccine I want, so will be following the news about it.

If Johnson & Johnson are making a vaccine, I'm not taking it... ???? With their horrible track record. No thanks!

Wouldn't it be wonderful just to get any vaccination here in Portugal, we will probably be the last in the EU to receive one.
This government always gives us hope but seldom delivers sadly.

Portugal was a victim of the poor negotiation that Brussels made with the manufacturers and the total absence of WHO from the vaccination process.
