By this weekend 3.8 million first doses and 2.2 million second doses of anti-covid vaccines had been administered in Portugal, having yesterday exceeded the six million jabs administered mark.
Now 40 percent of the population has had at least one vaccine against the virus.
No they're not immunised, we can still catch it but the affects are lessened.

Why they are so proud with these numbers? My country is considered one of the worse in Europe in general but one thing they did right: the vaccination program. They started the vaccination after Portugal, with a double population and now I can just go at any center and have a Pfizer without any appointment. In the same time in Portugal I don't even know when an appointment will be possible. Do they really care or they just think everyone got covid on the Christmas wave and now they have immunity? ????
