The 14-day cumulative incidence refers to the period between 5 and 18 August, with the report of the General Directorate of Health (DGS) mentioning five municipalities above the maximum threshold of more than 960 cases per 100,000 inhabitants defined by the Center European Program for Disease Prevention and Control: Boticas (1,502), Vila do Bispo (1,360), Lagos (1,275), Mourão (1,069) and Albufeira (990).
At the minimum threshold of less than 20 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, there are 11 municipalities: Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo (18), Madalena (17), Alvaiázere (15), Sertã (07), Corvo, Marvão, Mêda, Lajes das Flores , Penedono, São Roque do Pico and Santa Cruz das Flores (the latter seven did not register any case of infection).
Compared to data released a week ago, the DGS reports one more county above the maximum threshold of cases and three less without infections.
