The Council of the European Union is expected to approve this Tuesday, January 25, the end of the assessment of the 14-day cumulative incidence of Covid-19 to determine travel restrictions between countries and begin to impose negative tests or quarantines only to those who cannot confirm their status through a digital certificate.
If the end of the assessment of the 14-day accumulated incidence is even approved by the Council of the European Union, travellers who prove that they have been fully vaccinated (up to nine months after the second dose), a certificate of recovery (valid for 180 days) or a negative test (PCR, within 72 hours of travel, or antigen test, within the previous 24 hours), they no longer have to perform a new test at the destination or comply with quarantines.
