In a statement, the GNR indicates that, as part of an investigation that took place for about two years, it was possible to establish that "the suspects operated in a network", supplying the narcotic product in Amadora, in the district of Lisbon, for later commercialisation in Grândola, in the district of Setúbal.
"During the investigation, the GNR carried out 30 search warrants, in the towns of Grândola, Amadora and Olhão [Faro district], culminating in the arrest of the 13 suspects and in the seizure of various material", reads the same note.
8,765 euros were seized in cash, 5,007 doses of hashish, 292 doses of liamba, 111 doses of cocaine, 24 doses of MDMA, five firearms, 13 bladed weapons, 200 ammunition of different calibers, two vehicles, 23 cell phones, seven pieces of gold, two laptops, a film camera and material used in greenhouses for growing cannabis.
