“This is a new destination for Porto Airport and a new airline for Porto Santo Airport”, reads the information distributed by ANA.
The connection has a frequency of two weekly flights, on Thursdays and Sundays, until October.
ANA Aeroportos de Portugal|VINCI Airports points out that this new connection “reinforces its commitment to the Autonomous Region of Madeira - Porto Santo Island, in a joint effort to recover and increase connectivity, a fundamental step towards boosting domestic tourism and of the local economy”.
ANA’s commercial manager, Francisco Pita, quoted in the information, says that the connection “will simultaneously increase the air connectivity of the island of Porto Santo, benefiting tourism, but also residents of Porto Santo who now have a new regular domestic flight.”
“This operation is the result of a joint effort between the airline, ANA Aeroportos de Portugal – VINCI Airports and the tourist entities with a view to the sustainable recovery of the economy and tourism in the regions in which we operate”, he underlines.
