Lisbon: Saturday will still be feeling very warm with daily highs of 26 degrees before dropping slightly on Sunday to highs of 23 degrees. Occasional showers forecast for Monday. Intermittent cloud and sunny spells are forecast to continue for the following week with temperatures averaging more seasonal daily highs of 23 degrees and lows of 16 degrees.
The north: Clear blue skies are expected on Saturday when temperatures are to peak at 33 degrees before falling to highs of 29 degrees on Sunday when intermittent sunny spells are forecast. From Monday there will be a chance of rain in the north although it will remain warm with highs of 27 degrees.
The centre: The hottest day of the weekend is to be Saturday when thermometers are to hit the 31 degree mark. On Sunday cloud cover is set to increase slightly and it will be feeling a little cooler with highs of 28 degrees predicted. The remainder of the week is to be stable with sunny spells and highs of 26 degrees.
The south: Sunny spells and intermittent cloud is forecast over the weekend with temperatures peaking at highs of 26 degrees and dropping to lows of 16 degrees. From Monday temperatures will remain the same with intermittent cloud cover and highs of 24 degrees and an average nighttime temperature of 16 degrees.
Madeira: A dry weekend is forecast for Madeira with temperatures reaching highs of 24 degrees and dropping to lows of 18 degrees. From Monday the chance of rain is to increase, with there being a chance of showers until mid-week.
The Azores: Rain is forecast for Saturday with temperatures reaching highs of 20 degrees and lows of 14 degrees. The rain is to continue on Sunday through to the start of Wednesday with average daily temperatures of 12 degrees. The mixture of sunshine and cloud is then to continue for the rest of the week.
