Bruno Fernandes, who became an ambassador for the Teqball
Portugal Federation, discussed Cristiano Ronaldo's future at the English club.
"We're both on vacation and nobody bothers their
friends on vacation. I hope Cristiano will be there with me on Monday, he's one
of those who will come back later because of the national team's games. As far
as I know, there's nothing more than that, but everyone knows their future. I
don't believe the club is willing to lose a valuable player like
Cristiano", he said.
Bruno Fernandes also spoke of the possibility of the
37-year-old forward returning to Sporting, the club where he began his
professional career.
“I don't know, but it would be a great moment for the
Sporting fans. Almost everyone would like that to happen, but it depends on
what Cristiano wants for his future. He has ambitions to continue playing for
many years to come and we will see what he decides after his contract with
United ends. I think it's a dream of most Sporting fans to see Cristiano
wearing a Sporting shirt playing in Alvalade”, he added.
