PLAY, the Icelandic low-cost airline, will increase its
operations in Portugal during summer 2023 with two flights a week between Porto
and Reykjavik.

The new route, operated with an Airbus Neo with 192 seats,
will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays and PLAY will be the only airline to
offer flights on the route.
In 2021, it was estimated that around 1,300 Portuguese lived
in Iceland, making Portugal the country with the seventh highest number of
foreigners in the country, behind Spain and ahead of the United Kingdom.
