They
were told they should go to Olisipo and there they would receive the crown of
martyrdom they sought.
They
went by boat from Rome to Lusitania (modern-day Lisbon). They were exposed as
Christians and brought before the Roman governor Tarquinius. They refused to
renounce their Christian faith and were tortured then stoned.
There is a Basilica in
their memory in Lisbon.
