Fuel prices are to go down again at the start of this week.
Forecasts point to a reduction of 9.5 cents per litre in the case of diesel and
seven cents for petrol.
At the beginning of last week, a drop in prices was
expected, which ended up being halted by the reduction in the Tax on Petroleum
Products (ISP) discount.
This is because the Ministry of Finance announced that in
December there was a reduction in the ISP discount by 3.9 cents per litre of
diesel and 2.4 cents per litre of gasoline, taking into account the fall in
prices.
Crude oil price for the last month has been lower than before the main Ukraine invasion and sanctions. The Euro is almost back up to previous levels too.
So why is fuel at the pump still so expensive?
