When it comes to dining experiences in Vale do Lobo, U&Co surpasses all others.
Not only is it beautifully decorated, but the food is delectable and the service is exceptionally attentive, making it the top choice among diners.
To access U & Co's terrace, you'll need to climb a small flight of stairs. However, once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the ocean, although the beach itself may not be visible.
Upon arrival, you'll be warmly greeted by the lovely hostess who will escort you to your table. The restaurant boasts around 25 tables, although it's worth noting that it lacks indoor seating, presumably closing during the winter months. However, during the summer, it's a fantastic spot to enjoy the pleasant ambiance and relaxing music.
The restaurant's open-air deck offers a fantastic vantage point overlooking the ocean, while still maintaining a cozy atmosphere.
While the menu may not be extensive, each dish is exceptionally well-prepared. The attentive service is provided by multiple waiters who ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of excellent.
What sets U & Co apart even further is its reasonable pricing, with main courses priced at just €16.
To start our lunch, we indulged in a refreshing glass of cold tomato juice, followed by our chosen main courses. Marlot enjoyed a delightful salad with melon, Elyas relished a flavorful orange curry, and I savored a delicious risotto.
However, I must admit that the curry was the standout dish among the three. Kudos to Chef Phillipe for his culinary expertise!
F&B manager Pasquale Manganiello and his team go above and beyond to ensure that guests are well taken care of. We learned from Pasquale that live music is offered every Tuesday and Thursday, with a DJ on Sundays. This makes U & Co a perfect destination for a relaxing Sunday brunch.
We're eager to return to this remarkable establishment someday!
In conclusion, U & Co is highly recommended for its exceptional dining experience.
Open 7 days a week from 12-22 hours.
