Restaurant Review: BJ’s Oceanside

To reach BJ's, you can follow a pleasant sandy path stretching approximately 1.5 km or take a leisurely stroll along the beach from Quarteira. The beach club offers free parking spaces right in front of its entrance.

With its idyllic setting, BJ's is a charming and unpretentious beach pavilion.

Guests have the option to dine inside or enjoy their meal on the inviting terrace. It's worth noting that the coveted oceanfront spots are often fully booked well in advance, so be sure to make your reservation in a timely manner.

The menu at BJ's features a limited selection of dishes due to its small kitchen. Alongside fish and meat options, there is one vegetarian dish available—the vegan bean burger. Priced at 17.00 euros, the burger comes with fries, which can be purchased separately for 5.50 euros, resulting in a total of 22.50 euros. While this may seem steep for a simple burger, the quality justifies the price.

Salads are priced from 17.50 euros, fish dishes range from 30.50 to 47.50 euros, and meat dishes are priced at 41.50 euros.

It's worth mentioning that the staff at BJ's are the backbone of the beach club. They possess unique personalities and take pleasure in providing an entertaining experience for guests.

Given the popularity of BJ's, it's advisable to make a reservation in advance, as the tables are typically fully booked.

The beach club often accommodates large groups, such as bachelor parties, contributing to its lively and convivial atmosphere. If you prefer a quieter setting, I would recommend visiting BJ's tranquil neighbor, Restaurant Temperus beach.

As a bonus beach tip, adjacent to the restaurant is a beach where you can rent a bed or chair. The rental fee for a bed is 25 euros per day. While it's unlikely that service is provided on the beach, you can always fetch your own drinks from BJ's to enjoy during your relaxing time by the sea.
