In a statement sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the company led by João Bento states that operating income reached 480.4 million euros in the first half, 7.6 percent more than last year, "reflecting the growth of all business areas".
Financial services and retail rose by 91.4 percent, Expresso and Parcels by 15.2 percent and Banco CTT by 20.5 percent.
CTT said that "the acceleration of growth in the second quarter implied an increase in income" in the first half to 141.3 million euros, 15 percent more than that recorded in the first half of 2022.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and EBITDA rose 58.7 percent to 80.1 million euros.
Given the amount they rip you off to get a family gift with no re-sale market value out of Customs, I'm surprised it isn't higher.

One of the most useless, pointless companies in Portugal. CTT do NOT deliver and lie lie lie. Utterly pointless other than to scam customers.
