According to Father Carlos Cabecinhas, this period, which coincided with the functioning of the Aldeia Jovem prepared by the Sanctuary to support young people participating in the World Youth Day who passed through Cova da Iria, took place on August 5, when the Pope prayed in the Capelinha das Apparitions, the day with the most people, more than 222,890.

Carlos Cabecinhas also explained that the pilgrims who passed through Fátima between July 24 and August 10 came from 68 countries and the celebrations took place in 32 languages.
