The focus of the trip is Uganda, where Chris and a group of 18 benefactors will check on the progress of a school building and a hospital wing funded through initiatives led by Samuel Leeds. This diverse team, consisting of individuals from various fields, including sports and property, will also engage in activities with the schoolchildren, as well as assess future projects.
Sharing his enthusiasm for the trip, Chris says, "It's an incredibly rewarding experience to meet and spend time with these children. Their boundless positivity and dreams are just so inspiring; you can see the determination in their eyes."
What makes this journey even more heart-warming is that he will be sharing it with his two children, Daisy and Jacob. An ardent philanthropist, the father-of-two is a firm believer in giving back.
Chris has previously undertaken three trips to Africa, including one with Operation Smile, a charity specialising in repairing cleft palates, alongside former Dragon's Den star Duncan Bannatyne. He also supports a children’s home in the Algarve.
More recently, in Maui, Chris volunteered his foundational skills as a chef and organised a group to make food for 100 Hawaii fire victims.
Originally hailing from Grimsby, UK, Chris has enjoyed a remarkable career, having sold property in 23 different countries. A multi-business owner, he is an advocate for the Algarve, which has been his home for the past decade.
In 2012 he founded Ideal Homes Portugal, and currently travels the globe, hosting property events to showcase the advantages of living in Portugal and other key destinations, including Bali.
Chris White's journey closely aligns with that of Samuel Leeds, who commenced his property endeavours in 2008 and, within seven years, achieved self-made millionaire status.
Today, as well as being a successful developer, Samuel manages a prominent property training company. He has been a regular visitor to Uganda for several years, supporting various projects there.
