Puppyland needs volunteers

This puppy shelter outside Lagoa of the Friends of Canil de Portimão, that is run by Monique, has a good group of volunteers who help with the cleaning, feeding and walking of all the puppies there. And believe me, there is never a shortage of puppies!

There are times though, when there is a shortage of volunteers. As there are always volunteers that go back to their homeland for a while (or forever), or just go travelling or fall ill. Therefore, it is good to have a big group of them.

This is one of those times where we need more volunteers to help us help the puppies in Puppyland. To help with all day-to-day care of the puppies: walking, feeding, cleaning, and - very important - playing and socialising.

As a volunteer you should ideally be available at least one morning or afternoon per week. You will always work in pairs.
