According to IPMA, on the islands of Flores and Corvo, which make up the Western group of the archipelago, the yellow warning for sea agitation (waves from the west) has been in force since 10:04 local time today (11:04 in Lisbon) and the 08:00 local time on Tuesday (09:00 in Lisbon).
Also according to the IPMA statement, in the Eastern Azorean group (São Miguel and Santa Maria) the yellow warning, due to “rainfall, sometimes heavy”, is valid between 2:00 pm local time (3:00 pm in Lisbon) and 23:00 local time on Tuesday (00:00 on Wednesday, in Lisbon).
Also due to the rain, which can be “sometimes heavy”, the islands of the Central group of the Azores (Terceira, Pico, São Jorge, Graciosa and Faial) will be under yellow warning from 20:00 today (21:00 in Lisbon ) and 07:00 local time on Tuesday (08:00 in Lisbon).
