According to forecasts released by ACP - Automóvel Club de Portugal, there will be an increase of 2.5 cents in the case of diesel and 3.5 cents per litre in the case of petrol.

If these predictions are confirmed, the average price of simple diesel fuel should stand at €1.674/litre while that of simple 95 petrol should rise to €1.742/litre.

The ACP emphasises that "these forecasts are made based on the assumption of maintenance of the extraordinary tax reduction measures applied by the government, to mitigate the increase in prices".
