According to data from the Satisfaction Survey, published by the Azores Tourism Observatory, Azores Airlines was the company most used by tourists who landed in the Azores in 2023, states Publituris,

According to the same media outlet, Teresa Gonçalves, president of Grupo SATA, is pleased to witness that the airline stands out as being the “most sought after when planning a trip to the Azores.”

Teresa Gonçalves adds that the results prove that the services promoted by Grupo SATA airline agencies are like a “reference when it comes to travel to the Azores and within the archipelago.”

Publituris also states that, in 2023, Azores Airlines and SATA Air Açores had 2.4 million passengers on board, 25% more when compared to the same period last year.

“Azores Airlines is the airline that offers the most services to the Azores, connecting the Azores archipelago to North America, the European Continent, including mainland Portugal, and the Madeira archipelago and also to the Cape Verde archipelago”, says the SATA, cited by Publituris, which recalls that in 2024 the company will operate flights between Ponta Delgada and Milan, London, and Faro, in the Algarve.
