One of the best universities in the world will open a new campus in the centre of Lisbon in September. The Geneva Business School, which already has a presence in Spain., will be holding an open day on June 14 to publicise this new university option in Portugal.
“With a consolidated presence in Geneva for 25 years and campuses in Barcelona and Madrid, this will be the first Swiss university” to open in Portugal.
Courses at the school will be taught entirely in English and will be available in a hybrid model. “Classes will be predominantly online, with university professors visiting the campus monthly for personal interaction with students”.
It should also be noted that students will be able to visit the other campuses of the school (in addition to Barcelona, Madrid and Geneva), which allows them to “experience the university experience in three different countries”.
As for the courses that will be available, it is said that Geneva Business School offers a degree in international management, with six specialisations: international finance, international relations, sports management, entrepreneurship, the entertainment industry, and digital marketing.
“At the end of the course, students obtain a double degree, officially recognised in both Switzerland and Spain, which not only ensures the quality and versatility of the training received but also the greater robustness of its students' candidacy for jobs in the wider world”.
Can ordinary students afford it?

Thank you for divulging this unique opportunity for students in Portugal. As Director of Admissions of Geneva Business School I was very pleased to read this article, particularly with regard to how clear and to the point it is.
In this first year of our opening we will have a limited number of placements but as we expand, we truly hope to make this opportunity available to every student in Portugal who wishes to pursue their higher education studies at a world-class business school and thus remove all boundaries to their aspirations towards an international career in their chosen specialisation within the field of International Management.
