“I sincerely hope that everyone looks at our country and, even from the outside, feels like coming here on holiday, but, if possible, feels like returning”, said Luís Montenegro during the opening speech of the 632nd edition of the Feira de São Mateus, in Viseu.
As for those who are thinking of going abroad, the minister hoped that this desire would fade: “I hope that they can find an opportunity here and not often have to break what is most important in their lives”, such as ties with family and friends.
“It is worth believing in Portugal. We are capable of doing in Portugal what we are often also capable of doing abroad”, he stressed.
He’s an utter imbecile! “I hope they can find an opportunity here and have not to break what is most important in their lives”
Of course it’s painful for Portuguese entrepreneurs and business people to leave Portugal.
My Montenegror needs to shut his mouth and study the reasons so much talent leaves the country.
High taxes, ridiculous administrative rules and government interference with business and trade.
Until he can grasp that fact, the brightest and hardest working Portuguese will continue to leave.
