Treading, trudging and generally on the move. Weather excepted! And road works! “But, we did very well, our Tote-bags were extremely popular.”
APAA’s quest to raise money for their long-term and ongoing SNiP campaign sometimes receives a mixed bag of reactions. “Our Spaying and Neutering Programme is of paramount importance.” Jenny (President) is adamant. “We are not the only charity involved. The problem is spreading. We need to make people more aware of what is happening with the cat colonies. Feral cats multiply at a frightening rate.” Mm. “It’s a worldwide problem, not just localised.” The sound of happy feet is a lot different to those of the thud of paws. “Taking over the area in a suburban housing estate for instance. Or, a sudden appearance of cats on people’s property. Marauding for food. “It needs to be dealt with earlier than later. The damage has been done.” Unfortunately, people think it is someone else’s problem. Indeed.
Dogs S.O.S. Mother and son, Cindy 11 and Barriga Preto 9 need a home. Owners had to go to Germany. They are SNiP’d and vaccinated. Just need a really understanding home to hunker down and have some real precious doggie-time. Two together? Perfect. Separated? Sometimes work, the love and affection replaces separate lives. Help?
