According to data from idealista, 20% of homes remained on the market for between one week and one month, 31% for between one and three months, 32% for between three months and one year and 9% for more than one year.

Analysing house sales expressed by district capitals - that is, residential properties that are sold in less than a week, taking into account the time the advertisements remain on the air -, it is in Faro that we find a higher percentage: 46% of houses are sold in this period.

Among the large cities with the highest percentages of houses sold in less than seven days are also Porto (11%), Leiria (9%), Coimbra (9%), Setúbal (9%), Viana do Castelo (9%), Ponta Delgada (8%) and Aveiro (8%). Below the national average are Braga (7%), Santarém (7%), Castelo Branco (6%), Funchal (6%) and Lisbon (5%).

The district capitals where fewer house sales were recorded for a period of less than a week are Bragança (4%) and Viseu (3%), reveals the same data from idealista.
