According to Jornal de Negócios and cited by ECO, electricity will see an average monthly increase of 4%, while gas will increase by 12%.

For a family with a contracted power of 3.45 kVA and a monthly consumption of 132 kWh, which corresponds to an average bill of 30 euros, the increase will be 90 cents per month in the case of electricity. When it comes to gas, a family that consumes up to 220 m3 per year (1st bracket), with a consumption of 134 kWh per month, which corresponds to a bill of 17 euros, the increase will dictate an increase of around 1.8 euros in their monthly bill.

“These increases, which have not occurred since October 2024, reflect the continued increase in the cost of acquiring energy in international markets,” the oil company explained to the same newspaper. At the same time, the company is offering “compensation” to customers, with a discount voucher of five euros per month, for the next three months, to be used at the brand’s petrol stations."
