Gabriel Boric Font, the President of Chile, has unveiled plans to accelerate the construction of the Bioceanic Corridor, including 22 infrastructure projects to enhance roads, customs, and police checkpoints.

The corridor, which seeks to reduce transport times by up to 10 days, spans 2,400 kilometres connecting Chile with Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay.
According to the Chilean government, this initiative represents a significant improvement over other routes to boost trade with Asia-Pacific countries.
