Initially scheduled as the second race of the championship, the Portuguese round, which last season closed the world championship, will open it from 7-9 May, while the Dutch race will move to 23-25 July due to the current restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the competition calendar, this will be followed by the races in Aragon (Spain) from 21-23 May, Misano (Italy) from 11-13 June, Donington (Great Britain) from 2-4 July and Assen (Netherlands) from 23-25 July.
Magny Cours (France) will host round six from 3 to 5 September, with the championship then heading to Catalunya (Spain) from 17 to 19 September, a country which will also host round eight in Jerez from 24 to 26 September.
The second race in Portugal, at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portimão, is the venue for round nine, from 1 to 3 October, which for the time being represents the end of the races in Europe.
The race will then head for San Juan (Argentina), from 15 to 17 October, Mandalika (Indonesia), from 12 to 14 November, and Phillip Island (Australia), with no date yet announced.
The Superbike championship is aimed at motorbikes derived from series models and has two races each race weekend.
