"We will not be able to get the vaccines that we have to finish the first phase before 31 March, we will extend this period to April", said Henrique Gouveia e Melo at the Infarmed meeting, which brings together experts, government officals and the President of the Republic, to analyise current Covi-19 situation in Portugal.
This situation, explained Gouveia e Melo “is not a problem of administration, nor of the speed of administration, it is a logistical problem and a problem of the availability of vaccines upon arrival in Portugal and, therefore, of access to vaccines”.
