Portugal will face the Spanish national team in Seville, on Friday 4 June, and will play Israel, on the following Wednesday, 9 June, in a location to be defined, in the preparation meetings announced by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF).
This will be the 41st time that Portugal will face the Spanish team, less than a year after the 0-0 draw at the José Alvalade Stadium, in Lisbon.
Portugal has beaten Spain on eight occasions, against 17 Spanish triumphs and 15 draws.
The record against Israel is more favourable for Portugal, with three triumphs, one defeat and two draws, in the last two games between the teams, both qualifying for the 2014 World Cup, 1-1 in Lisbon and 3-3 in Tel Aviv.
The 2020 European Championship was postponed and is now due to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
At Euro2020, Portugal plays their debut in Group F against Hungary, in Budapest, on 15 June, then playing against Germany in Munichon the 19 June, and France, current world champions, runner-up in Europe in 2016 who eliminated the Portuguese team from the final stage of the League of Nations on 23 June.
Before these meetings, the Portuguese team begins qualifying for the World Cup 2022, to be played in Qatar, with the reception to Azerbaijan, on 24 March, and the trips to Serbia, three days later, and to Luxembourg, on 30 March, for Group A.
