“This change aims to comply with the provisions of the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE), which requires a clear distinction between suppliers in the regulated and free markets, thus guaranteeing greater transparency for consumers”, explained the company, in a statement.
In addition to the name change, Gás SU also has a new image, distinct from the other companies in the EDP group.
To avoid any potential confusion with fraudulent entities, the change has already started to be communicated to customers, with messages on invoices and updates on the website and in the physical store, in Porto, and will continue to be done progressively.
The company also guarantees that this process does not change the services provided to customers or the prices charged.
Gás SU supplies natural gas in the regulated market in the districts of Porto, Braga and Viana do Castelo.
