When we entered the passport control there was chaos. Hundreds of people queueing to pass through, one person trying to direct people.
The EU and non EU passengers were told to queue in the same queues, no segregation.
Half of the EU booths were not open.
After waiting for over one hour we eventually got to the booth and then weren't even asked for our EU covid pass.
The Algarve is a beautiful area which we love and tourism must provide most of the income for the area . A large percentage of these tourists arrive via Faro airport.
There is a saying - ‘You get once to make a first impression’.
The management of this airport should be ashamed of the service provided.
Portugal has done a brilliant job vaccinating the population .
Perhaps whoever is in charge of vaccinations should be drafted in to run the airport

Ich kann mich der Meinung von Cecil nur anschließen. Bei der Abfertigung, besonders bei Eurowings, ist Geschwindigkeit und Kundenservice ein Fremdwort. Eventuell sollte man sogar über ein neues Terminal, oder einen neuen Flughafen nachdenken. Viele Grüße, Christian
