Tuesday, 1 March – Let’s Walk through beautiful valleys near Monchique

A moderately easy 2 hour walk through hidden, beautiful valleys to the east of Monchique town.

10.00am start – meet at Cerca da Rita. Drive to Monchique and at the roundabout on the edge of town take the first exit right, direction Alferce. Follow the road for about 3km when you will see a sign to the left ‘Cerca da Rita’, turn here and follow the road down to a junction with a large clearing under the trees, we will meet here. Tuesday, 8 March – Let’s Walk from Benaciate

A very easy circular walk through unspoilt countryside, tiny hamlets and orange groves hours – just over 2 hours
10.00am start meet at the café Finalmente in Benaciate. Drive to Algoz and then take the road for SB Messines and Krazy World. After 7.5km turn left for Benaciate, drive for about 1km to the village and the cafe is in the centre on the right. Chris 913 011 537
