A team of researchers from Porto University found that among Covid-19 patients, health officials had recorded three pregnant men, along with a 97 year old woman who was also said to be expecting. Another patient was declared to be 137 years old, while one diagnosis was recorded on the 50th of May. There were also 19 confirmed cases before there was any knowledge of the existence of Covid-19. Following the news, DGS boss Graça Freitas admitted that the numbers are “not perfect” and are for surveillance purposes.
