The event is free to attend and has been designed to try to boost trade in local businesses.

You can find the Living Statues dotted around Lagoa from 2:30pm to 5:30pm today and on 19 December from 9am until 12pm. You will find these living statues on Rua Mercado Municipal, Rua 25 de Abril and Rua Jardim 5 de Outubro.

There have been some changes compared to previous editions of the living statues, due to the pandemic, so it is important to respect all safety standards and impositions given by the General Health Directorate in relation to COVID-19. Additionally, this is why it was decided to extend the perimeter of the event, in order to avoid possible clusters of people. The statues will be distanced from each other, and properly enclosed so that physical contact with the public is not possible; there will also be hand sanitisers spread throughout the area.
