“The strengthening of the presence of the CUF network in the
southern region of the Tagus expands the offer and differentiation of
healthcare in the district of Setúbal. With the opening of this clinic, CUF
becomes an increasingly comprehensive and close network, responding to the
prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up needs of more and more people”,
says the chairman of the CUF Executive Committee, Rui Diniz.
Built from scratch and implemented in an area of over
1,500 square metres, the new CUF Montijo Clinic results from an investment of
10 million euros and created 120 jobs.
The new clinic ensures consultations in various medical and
surgical specialties - including general and family medicine, pediatrics,
gynecology-obstetrics, ophthalmology, and dentistry, also offering general
family medicine consultations every working day, from 8:00 a.m. to 21:00, and
on Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00.
“With more than 30 offices, providing medical care, nursing
care and complementary diagnostic means - such as CAT scans, X-rays, and
mammography, the opening of the CUF Montijo Clinic is part of the expansion and
consolidation project of the CUF network at a national level”.
According to the statement, “CUF Montijo Clinic will work
closely with CUF Descobertas Hospital to complement the health care provided”.
CUF, the private health care operator of the José de Mello
