The announcement was made after a delegation from the National Federation of Teachers (Fenprof) went to the prime minister's official residence to "expose the situation in education, formalise the delivery of strike notice, but also make a final effort to open avenues of dialogue".
"Given the situation that has been reached, there is no alternative other than to strike, as a form of protest, but also a demand for dialogue, negotiation and solutions to the concrete problems," Fenprof said in a statement.
The union structure indicates that this notice of strike covers the entire national territory and covers all teachers, "regardless of whether the service assigned to them is school or non-school, and takes place in person or at a distance".
The strike always seems to be a Friday.
