GNR officers are to intensify their presence on the country’s busiest roads this week and will be clamping down on heavy goods vehicles. The force said it will be carrying out an intensive inspection operation of lorries across the country, over the next week, with a view to promoting road safety and reducing the risk of road accidents. The operation begins today and ends on the 14th, focusing on roads with the highest volume of heavy vehicle traffic.
Incorrect spelling of Lorries in the headline.
