According to a new British study, Portugal is placed ahead of countries such as Canada, Australia and the UK when taking into account the working environment for women.
Despite the high ranking in comparison to other countries, women in Portugal are still earning close to 10 percent lower than their male counterparts, achieving an overall score of 7.67 out of 10. The ranking is topped by Norway, followed by Denmark and Finland.
This isn’t an article. It’s a stub, and a lazy effort. If you have such a headline, ffs explain the criteria that were used to measure what makes a country good or bad, what factors favor or discriminate against women. Real journalists dig and reveal facts to the reader. This superficial, unexplained item does not even merit publication. Shame on you.
