In addition to returning flights from Porto, Air Transat will fly to another 15 European destinations departing from Montreal, in an operation that includes the city of Amsterdam for the first time, in addition to destinations such as Athens, Basel-Mulhouse, Barcelona, ​​Brussels , London, Madrid, Rome and Venice, as well as French provinces including Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Toulouse.

“In addition, the airline currently offers flights to Malaga and Lisbon, as well as a daily service to Paris, which will increase to up to 14 flights per week during the summer”.

Departing from Quebec, Air Transat will also fly to Paris, in a connection that starts in early April, while in May it will be the turn to open flights from London, for the first time that the company operates this route.

In the case of flights from Toronto, Air Transat will also serve 15 European cities this summer, with the carrier explaining that flights from “Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, ​​Dublin, Lamezia, Paris, Rome, Venice and Zagreb return to be offered”, while the connections to Glasgow, Lisbon, London, Manchester and Porto, which are currently in place, will be maintained.

Algarve flights

“In addition, due to sustained demand by Portugal, Air Transat will now fly to Faro throughout the year”, adds the airline, which this year announced, for the first time, flights to the Algarve capital during the summer.

Air Transat is also resuming flights to the US and highlights that, for the first time in its history, it will provide connections to California, “serving both San Francisco and Los Angeles from Montreal”.

“And given Florida's unwavering popularity, the airline will operate multiple flights throughout the year; namely, flights from Montreal to Fort Lauderdale and Miami, from Quebec City to Fort Lauderdale, and from Toronto to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, will now be offered throughout the year,” adds Air Transat.

According to Joseph Adamo, sales and marketing director at Transat, the airline’s prospects “for the summer season are favourable”, which is why Air Transat will provide an “abundant air offer, which includes the vast majority” of destinations for where the carrier operated prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.
