The final of the 56th edition of the Festival da Canção, which will be presented, as in previous years, by Filomena Cautela and Vasco Palmeirim, will be broadcast live on RTP1, RTP Internacional and RTP Play from the public station's studios in Lisbon.

The ten songs in competition are, in order of presentation: “Dégrá.Dê” (theme composed by DJ Marfox and performed by Pongo and Tristany), “Ainda nostems” (theme composed and performed by Syro), “Corpo de Mulher ( Agir/Milhanas), “Fome de viagem” (Pedro Marques/Inês Homem de Melo), “Why?” (Aurea), “Tomorrow” (Tiago Nogueira/Os Quatro e Meia), “How good it is to wait for someone” (FF), “Ginger Ale” (Joana Espadinha/Diana Castro), “Saudade saudade” (Maro) and “Código 30” (Pepperoni Passion).

The songs that compete in the final were chosen in two semi-finals, which took place on March 5th and 7th, also at RTP's studios in Lisbon.

In the final, the weight of votes is shared between viewers and a jury, with representatives from seven regions of mainland Portugal and islands.

In the event of a tie, the choice of the public prevails, which can vote through value-added calls.
