"Following actions carried out by the National Criminal Information and Investigation Unit (UN) of ASAE, six people were arrested, for the crime of speculation and irregular sale of tickets, after announcing the sale of tickets above their face value and obtaining an undue equity advantage", announced ASAE in a statement.
During the operation, 10 tickets with face values ranging between €30 and €60 were seized, with tickets being on sale above their official value, with requests for around €200 per ticket.
In the statement, ASAE warns consumers that they should avoid purchasing tickets above their official value, since such a sale constitutes a crime of speculation or irregular sale of tickets, punishable by imprisonment for up to three years.
