According to reports, the victim suffered multiple stab wounds.
The alarm was raised at around 7am yesterday morning.
Local fire-fighters and INEM emergency medics unsuccessfully attempted to resuscitate the man at the scene. Another young man, presumed to be the perpetrator, was found by GNR officers in a nearby apartment, reportedly holding a knife in bloody hands. The two reportedly knew each other.
It is not yet known if the victim was a tourist or a resident or what nationality the alleged attacker is. PJ police are investigating.
