The connection between the northern city of Portugal and Porto Santo operates twice a week (Sundays and Thursdays), until the end of October, with flights from €20.
In addition to this new route, from 2 June, easyJet will also start operating the connection from Lisbon to Ilha Dourada, with two weekly frequencies (Sundays and Thursdays).
José Lopes, Managing Director of easyJet Portugal, states that: "It was with great enthusiasm that we inaugurated the first Porto-Porto Santo flight.
“Porto Santo is a very special destination for us and it makes perfect sense to include it in our network, not only because it is a beach and leisure destination, but mainly because it is a place so appreciated by the Portuguese.
“As we've been saying, we're getting closer and closer to summer and so we're still on the road to recovery. Our arrival in Porto Santo, airport where we will be the 3rd operator with the most capacity, is another indicator of recovery and that easyJet continues to believe in Portugal, promoting national Tourism and Economy.”
