The Portuguese prime minister has not revealed the date of the trip, but he assured that on that occasion an agreement will be signed for significant financial support to Ukraine.

“The prime minister invited me to visit Ukraine on a date to be agreed, which I accepted. It will include a meeting with the President of the Republic of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky”, said Costa, quoted by CNN Portugal.

The PM also added that the monthly support that Ukraine needs is around five billion euros: “Portugal is not in a position to respond to support of this scale, but we will make a substantial contribution.”
