This will be the second time that the Portuguese capital has hosted the main UEFA meeting, after hosting the organisation's second congress, on June 8, 1956.
The congress in Lisbon will elect the president of UEFA - the mandate of Slovenian Aleksander Ceferin ends in 2023 -, this being one of the tasks of this body, together with the consideration of annual reports and budgets, election of Executive Committee members, of the FIFA Council and the auditing body.
