The American electronic music festival Secret Project will make its debut in Portugal, starting today, with an event at Praia da Rocha in Portimão, which will feature dozens of top artists.
Founded in Los Angeles, the festival made its debut in Europe last year in Amsterdam.
According to the organisation, there will be house, techno, and drum & bass stages, in a programme that goes from Adam Beyer, Wilkinson, Amelie Lens, Andy C, Charlotte de Witte, Chase & Status, DJ Hype, Maceo Plex, Marco Carola, Paul Kalkbrenner, Richie Hawtin, Sigma, Sven Väth, and Tale of Us, among others.
"The music will be heard across all three stages, on all three days, throughout the night," a statement released by the organisation in January read.
"Festival-goers can anticipate exploring a rich array of local cultures and gastronomies, beach sports, water activities, restaurants, and bars during their stay in this spectacular landscape," it continued.
Reserved for over 18s, with no camping available, the festival replaced the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), initially planned for the same dates and venue.
