The animal is said to work as an indicator of the good health of an ecosystem.
Researcher Ricardo Neves told Lusa News Agency that the samples that led to the identification of the species were collected 10 years ago in the Ria de Alvor, in Portimão, and were stored at the Complutense University of Madrid, until recently, a master’s student from that academy became interested in them and made the discovery.
Hi, the name of the species (quinorrinco in Portuguese) in English is not cinorrhine, but rather kinorrhyncha. Could you please amend the article? Thanks

It's Kinorhyncha. There's only one r.
Great find though, even something as small as this is a massive discovery and marvelous indicator of environmental conditions.
